Rony Barua

Photography is more than a passion and hobby for me; it is a way of telling stories, capturing authentic moments, and documenting the beauty and diversity of the world.

Since 2014, I have been working as a part-time freelance photographer, continuously exploring my creative vision and developing my photographic skills. In 2019, I earned the photographic distinctions AFIAP, PPSA, and ABPS in recognition of my dedication to photography.

My photographs have been exhibited at international photographic exhibitions across Asia, Europe, and the United States. I have received more than 300+ awards from club, national, and international photography competitions.

My Role in the Photography Community

I proudly volunteer with the Photographic Society of America (PSA), serving as Nature Director and in the Who’s Who Department. Through this work, I contribute to the international photography community and its continued development.

My photographic interests are driven by a desire to discover meaningful stories, explore different cultures, observe the natural world, and capture moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. I believe photography has the power to connect people across cultures and borders.
